Yes. By destroying hair follicles, laser reduces ingrown hair recurrence over time. Existing embedded hairs may need extraction first; our technicians combine treatments and aftercare advice to minimize irritation and prevent future ingrowth.

Most clients report mild discomfort described as a quick snapping or warming sensation. We use cooling and adjust settings to maximize comfort. Any soreness usually subsides within a few hours to a day.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and direct sun exposure for 48–72 hours. Use recommended soothing gels or aloe, keep the area clean, and wear breathable shoes. Follow all post-care instructions to reduce irritation and protect skin tone.

Avoid waxing, harsh exfoliation, or chemical treatments on the area for at least two weeks prior. Light grooming like trimming is fine. If you recently had a pedicure, inform us so we can assess skin condition before treatment.
