Get answers to common questions about Under Arm.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycle and individual factors. Regular waxing can gradually extend intervals as hair becomes finer. Schedule follow-ups every four to six weeks for consistent results and maintenance.

Yes. Waxing pulls hair from the root, reducing the chances of sharp regrowth that causes ingrown hairs. Our technicians use proper technique and post-wax soothing treatments to minimize inflammation and recommend exfoliation and moisturizers to further prevent ingrowth.

Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long for effective removal. Avoid heavy deodorants, recent tanning, or retinoids for two to three days prior. Cleanse and come with dry, product-free skin; we’ll recommend numbing or soothing options if needed.

When performed correctly, waxing should not permanently darken skin. Temporary redness or mild hyperpigmentation can occur, especially on sensitive or darker skin tones. We use gentle techniques, post-care calming products, and give tailored aftercare to minimize pigment changes.

Some discomfort is normal, but pain is brief. Our skilled technicians use efficient wax, proper technique, and pre- and post-wax care to reduce sensation. Topical numbing can be offered, and repeated treatments often become less painful as hair thins.

Avoid deodorant for at least twenty-four hours after waxing to prevent irritation. Avoid heavy sweating or intense exercise for the first day as well. After that, use gentle, fragrance-free products and keep the area clean to reduce irritation risk.
